National Design Winner
In her first year of participating in the Australian Apex Teen Fashion Awards (AATFA) she took home first place at the nationals competition for the casual category in 2014.
Cirra-Sue's designs ended up being quite known within the AATFA circle as the designer to beat each year. The interesting things is that no one had actually ever met Cirra-Sue in person nor had Cirra-Sue ever attended one of the competitions herself as she was still living in Uganda, with her parents. Cirra-Sue would design and make the garments in Uganda then ship/fly them back to Australia. With the generous help of family and friends they would attend and model her designs at the multiple competition on her behalf each year.

Kampala Fashion Week 2015
In collaboration with Definition Africa, Cirra-Sue designed and launched a 10 piece collection titled 'Lugambo' translating to mean gossip.
The collection featured a custom print inspired by news paper and the fun local street slang in Kampala, Uganda. It was an iconic collection that launched Cirra-Sue's design career.
The collection used the contrast of three fabrics to stand out; smooth black pleather, a shimmering cotton blend and the custom printed cotton. Accessorised with custom box bags trimmed in red piping and piercing red bangles to polish off each the collection.

Kampala Fashion Week 2017
Titled 'R&R' this independent collection launched at
Kampala Fashion Week 2017.
R&R stands for Reuse and Recycle, Cirra-Sue designed and sewed this whole collection out of second hand garments she found at her local village market in Mityana and Kampala.
The inspiration to repurpose does not stop at the garments, the accessories including the hand bags and shoes are all made from tires!
Cirra-sue designed this collection with the vision to promote and inspire repurposing of old garments into fresh new pieces.
